Rename and delete chats

Rename or delete any chat directly from its right-click menu in the sidebar or History list. Custom titles sync to your account across devices and won't get overwritten when the assistant auto-names conversations. Deleting a chat removes it everywhere.

"Open elsewhere" chat protection

Opening the same chat in multiple windows now marks secondary windows as read-only with a status banner and a "Take over" button, preventing conflicting edits across sessions.

• Active chats in the sidebar now display clear status indicators next to the name: a pulse while working, a checkmark when complete, and a dot when awaiting your input.
• Streamed responses now transition smoothly into the chat, and completed terminal panels collapse cleanly.

Export canvas designs to a chosen folder

When saving a design from the canvas as PNG or HTML, a folder picker now lets you choose the export location, select from recent folders, or enter a new folder name. HTML exports also include an optional "Include assets" toggle to bundle page images into a self-contained folder so designs render correctly outside your project.

Now you can search Inspirations directly from the chat using the new /find_inspirations skill. Kombai finds relevant inspirations based on your prompt and shares them in the chat for you to preview and use.

Introducing "Response notifications"

Kombai now notifies you when a task finishes or requires your input. If you are working on another thread, click the notification showing the finished thread's name to jump straight back to it.

Product enhancements

• Canvas nodes now support stacking order. Right-click any node to access the Order menu (Bring to Front, Bring Forward, Send Backward, and Send to Back), with each change supported as a single undo step.
• Text labels can now belong to frames. Draw a frame around text or drop text onto one, and it will move, duplicate, copy, group, and export along with everything else in that frame.
• Canvas HTML exports are now significantly smaller. Images and styles are linked instead of embedded, turning heavy designs into clean, committable code.
• The agent can now transfer a node's HTML in and out of the Canvas via file path, keeping large design payloads out of the chat thread.
• Added Google's Gemini 3.7 Flash to the model list.
• Desktop app terminal commands now inherit your login shell's PATH, allowing tools installed via version managers to resolve just as they do in your native terminal.

Introducing Drawing and Frame nodes on the canvas

You can now sketch annotations, drop in reference images, and lay out flow diagrams directly on the design canvas. Sketch a layout, mark up an interface, map a user flow, or organize references inside a frame. Then attach the result to chat as context that the agent can act on.

Introducing question forms

When the agent needs more clarification from you, it can now ask questions through structured forms: choice pills, image pickers, date ranges, sliders, and color pickers, with markdown-formatted questions and options.
